Headway Trader Feeds an Entire Village for Ramadan | Dreamway

The eighth round of Dreamway was dedicated to the most important time of the year for all Muslims – Ramadan. During this holy month, Headway encouraged traders to share how they would like to help their communities. And now, we are ready to tell you the story of our new Dreamway winner. Meet Suryanto from Indonesia and learn about how Headway helped him and his community.

How Suryanto joined Dreamway

Suryanto is a beginner who is only starting on his path towards trading success. He joined Headway because of the broker’s advantageous conditions. When he learned about the special round of Dreamway, he knew it was his chance to make a difference in his village, so he left the following comment under the Dreamway March post:

“… Sharing basic necessities is a must for residents in remote mountain regions in my area. Hopefully, with Headway Indonesia, I can help all the basic needs of the residents around me.”

This dedication to the people around him touched our team, so Headway chose to fulfill Suryanto’s dream.

Suryanto’s life and journey

Suryanto is a 48-year-old farmer from Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia. His life is full of hard work and significant challenges. His home is located in the mountain region, which makes it hard to cultivate crops during the dry season. Lack of rain, plant diseases, and low crop prices mean that local farmers can barely make ends meet.

That’s when Headway came in. Thanks to Suryanto’s Ramadan wish, Headway was able to finally help his village and alleviate the community’s burden. With 180 packages of basic food supplies, they won’t have to worry about daily expenses and can focus their energy and resources on farming.
